We’re looking for a Digital Director to help grow our team. cStreet is a small agency that services organizations, political candidates, higher ed institutions, and social movements in Canada and abroad. We help progressives campaign and win on the web with smart tools. Our goal is to empower our clients with campaigns that engage their supporters, and drive meaningful change. The Digital Director will be the head of our digital campaigns department. This is a leadership position and we are looking for a self-driven individual who is eager to contribute their ideas. This position in based in Toronto, Canada.

As the Digital Director you will:

  • Listen to and understand the needs of clients, what they’re trying to accomplish, and what the broader change they’re trying to make is

  • Set goals for yourself, your team, the client, and the project

  • Develop strategies for how to meet those goals

  • Work with the design and development team to build amazing tools and products for our clients

  • See campaigns through from start to finish without veering off course of the objectives

  • Work in a rapid-response campaign setting and on longer-term, ongoing projects

  • Contribute your campaign knowledge to scoping custom apps or web tools

  • Work directly with clients on an ongoing basis to help them succeed and excel

  • Develop and run training programs for clients that have a mix of tech and best practice

  • Stay abreast of latest developments in digital activism and the latest campaign tools.

  • Mentor your directs, and encourage them with content, cool ideas, and earnest feedback


Some of the areas we work in include: 

  • Email writing, A/B testing, and email fundraising

  • Social media and digital advertising campaigns

  • Lead acquisition

  • Email and peer-to-peer fundraising

  • Microsite and organizational website design and development

  • Bulk and peer-to-peer SMS campaigns

Salary: $50,000-60,000/year with the possibility of relocation support.
