We: a small team of people building beautifully designed and clever campaigns on Nationbuilder

Our work: We have a roster of exceptional clients who are making real impacts in politics, the environment, labour relations, and human rights, to name a few. We work exclusively with Nationbuilder as a platform and pride ourselves on being experts in how to use the tools to get the most out of the platform. We not only build websites for clients but also help them figure out strategies for how to use the web to achieve their organisational goals.

You: a problem solver, a passionate progressive, a lifetime learner, a news junkie, a bleeding heart lefty, a lover of good design with attention to detail. You have personal side projects on the go.

The job:

This position involves a fair amount of front end development. Working with our design staff, you’ll need to build mobile-responsive sites from working illustrator files with your excellent knowledge of SASS. Knowledge of Liquid isn’t necessary but you’ll need to learn it fast; Liquid is the glue between your code and the Nationbuilder backend.

On top of coding our designs, we’ll need your creativity to kick our work up a notch with javascript, jquery, and ajax, animating our flat designs and installing third party tools (on occasion).  Over the longer term, you'll also be building simple apps using the Nationbuilder API and webhooks.

Most importantly, your code is clean, lean, and intelligent.

This is an entry level position at 40 hours/week from our office at Queen and Palmerston in Toronto and the salary is $45,000. This is a fulltime permanent position following a probationary 6 month contract.

Please email your resume or linkedin (prefered) to [email protected] plus a couple projects you’ve worked on that you think are awesome.

Deadline: December 21st 5pm

We can’t wait to meet you!
