Latest Campaign: ro*co Films Educational

Today our latest project went live: ro*co Films Educational.

After a couple months of planning, development and implementation we’re thrilled to see Kristin, Joan & their team launch a beautiful new site powered by NationBuilder.

This project was our first foray integrating e-commerce into NationBuilder and our first time working with a documentary film organization.

Here’s a couple quick insights:

• We used ECWID, a free-to-cheap third party shopping cart to power ro*co’s e-commerce.  By default ECWID comes pretty ugly, so it required an extensive redevelopment of the front facing aspects.
• ro*co was looking to take the first steps towards building communities around their films and allowing supporters to host their own events. On their site, each film has a separate calendar & user-generated events tools that also aggregate on a master calendar.  
• Full width sliders everyone! Look how great they are with pop-out film trailers.
